Answer to world peace?
Before there can be world peace, there must be peace within ourselves. Yet in order for there to be peace within ourselves we must have an understanding of other cultures, other religions and customs.
Just because it was not the way we were bought up, doesn’t mean it is automatically wrong or evil, it is just another way of life that is there for a reason.
There are certain customs i do not like (such as in middle eastern culture women being treated inferior) yet it doesn’t mean it is automatically wrong, it is just wrong for me on a personal level. A way i tend to understand it is all female mammals in the animal kingdom are physically inferior to the males, hence the males being in charge, middle eastern culture have just kept the natural law of heirachy; where as my culture (australian) believe in equal rights.
So the Question is, do you believe we have to find peace in ourselves, and understand for other cultures, before we can really obtain world peace?
i think it is really should start within our own self in order to gain real world peace. a peace within own self. but it is so hard to attain i guess. it just merely a dream right now for us.
