Is there a a law for landlords having to provide locks on the main floor apartment?

I live in MN and none of our windows on the main floor apartment have working window locks. I was curious if there is some sort of law on this in MN. Any links found on MN tenant rights that TELL of windows needing locks and it is the law in MN, please post.

I am not certain as to the law-but i would certainly provide my tenants window locks. They only cost about 3 bucks each..If your landlord is to cheap to provide them and you dont want to fight over this -you might just consider putting them on yourself..
